InPost, a leader in modern logistics, teamed up with Office Samurai for a bold 24-hour challenge: build a production-level robot to handle a complex process involving unstructured input and scanned documents. The combined team of developers and SMEs utilized UiPath Document Understanding and Generative AI (ChatGPT) for data extraction and fuzzy-logic matching. Despite the complexity, ten real test cases ran error-free.
The resulting solution is still running efficiently today, having processed 13,875 cases and saving approximately 1.3 FTEs monthly.

Leveraging UiPath technology and support from Office Samurai, the company successfully deployed 132 automations. Their flagship project, Gutenberg, utilizes Document Understanding to process approximately 12,000 booking confirmation documents from freight carriers annually. This process, which manually consumed close to 2,000 hours per year, now requires human intervention in only 20% of cases, showcasing its high efficiency. Cumulatively, Sappi has saved about 13,000 hours in the European region alone in the last year.
